"Job Title: Groundsman/Driver
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Groundsman/Driver to join our Tree Care service business. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Tree Climbers with pruning and removals, as well as operating and maintaining equipment, driving company vehicles, and ensuring all work is performed in compliance with safety standards and company policies.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist Tree Climbers with pruning and removals as needed.
Operate and maintain chainsaws, chippers, and other equipment.
Drive company vehicles and transport equipment to and from job sites.
Perform daily equipment inspections and maintenance.
Ensure all work is performed in compliance with industry safety standards and company policies.
Communicate effectively with crew members and customers to ensure a positive customer experience.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Some experience in tree care or related field preferred but not required.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Ability to lift heavy objects and use hand and power tools.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to work in all weather conditions.
Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety standards.
